Sad news for Flemming’s secret agent’s fans as the composer of eleven of the James Bond franchise scores has died at the age of 77. Unfortunately, the author of many remarkable film scores will probably be remembered for one of the best recognizable movie signatures with the guitar introduction showing James Bond shooting in a blood circle towards the audience. Coming second could be his composition for the opening-credit for the tv-series The Persuaders!
