SITGES 08 : 41st EDITION RESULTS

The 41st edition of the Sitges - International Film Festival of Catalonia, held from October 2nd to the 12th, continued the success it obtained in 2007 and maintained its figures of 50,000 tickets sold and 100,000 viewers in its movie theaters, including accredited press members, guests and free screenings.

The total number of festival visitors was 140,000, including the huge amount of participants in the Eastpak Zombie Walk held on Friday October 10th in Sitges.

400 media representatives from 20 countries, including the United States, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, Argentina, Italia and Canada, covered the Festival from Sitges.

All daily information was followed through the official website, www.cinemasitges.com, reaching 11,000 hits per day on key festival days and 200,000 hits in a month, with 1,700,000 pages visited during this period and 220,000 viewings of Festival videos and trailers.
